Just wanted to get rid of the spam and ask the question how you like this program?

well, I think they are liking it. the trouble for me is there is no way I can keep up with them with the reading, and I feel a bit detached. I think I would have liked more written assignments to help me there - there are some and we make up more, though.

I'm thinking of using royals & revolution with my dd (7th), and I'm wondering the same thing. How do you all like the program? Any pros/cons...? I don't see any comprehension questions (like in other guides). So, I'm hoping there is other ways of re-enforcement of topics - writing essays etc.?
Thanks for the help! |

This is EXACTLY how I feel!!! My dd is really liking the program, but I am behind in the reading and without ANY, ANY notes or questions for discussion or ANYTHING I can't discuss it with her. I am especially disappointed with no notes/Q&A because she is now reading Common Sense and I would love to have some great conversations about this with her----but I am not reading it yet. Why didn't they include notes like the American Culture program????

much too late, I noticed that they suggest the parent just reading the WP exclusive, to get a summary of what the student read. the other con, for us, is that the two who are doing it just don't like artsy stuff, so we aren't doing the exhibition, and that's a big part of the feedback.
