I am considering QAW for the fall Maybe combining with MFW CTG? Has anyone done this before? What did you think of QAW? We just started Sea and Sky but I like to plan and order my books early. I would love to hear about you favorite books or add ons to this program. We have completed CAW and AW ,AS1 also:) Thanks for any information!

We did QAW last year with a 4th and 8th grader. We really enjoyed it. I tried to post weekly check-in type posts that included our favorites, additions, etc. I suggest you check the back posts in this category for some ideas.

Did you have specific questions about it? Although we enjoyed S&S, we liked QAW much better.

hey there Bev,
wanted your input on something about this program. i'm planning on doing it this next school year and was debating over i should buy the MYO pages or not. how did you like them for QAW? is there more hands on kind of stuff? you know a bit more drawing and things like that. or is is like AS1 and AS2 MYO pages? they were kind of boring and i didn't really even use them at all. maybe like 2%. was wondering it it was worth buying or not. i know i'm going to buy the HIH MYO pages for my 1st grader who will tag along, but wasn't sure about these.
thanks.>tiny

I don't really remember. Isn't that sad? My kids don't like any MYO pages. I have given up forcing them to do them.

I think the As1/2 MYO pages were updated within the past 2 years to be more interesting. Or maybe it was the Ac1/2 pages? I can't remember.

Hmmm, I am not being too helpful, am I?

I seem to remember the QAW MYO pages being more interesting. Most of them had some sort of interactive thing on them. I know there were some for translating the ancient languages. The AS1/2 pages I remember were just text to read. The QAW are better than that.

Can a current QAW user answer Yvonne's question?

bev,
thanks for your answer. the AS1 and AS2 both new are boring. i used them for my own personal planning when i wanted to add in stuff for the kids. i just might be getting them this year.
