Do you get a *make your own history book* for EACH of your children? Or do you do them at all? Or just as a family? I am wondering if I should order more of them….
Also what about other *kit* activity things --- like in AS2 – the gold pan kit, and science thing --- would I want each child to have one?
What about timeline books? Each child? As a family, or not at all..
What to the children think of them?
Thanks! Tina

I only got one Make-Your-Own History Book, and honestly we don't use it that much. I only ordered one gold mining kit, but I ordered another one because I thought it would be too hard to share. The Spy Science kit is for 2 kids. If you have more than two you might want to order another one as it looks like a lot of fun. Hope that helps.:)

I haven't ordered a timeline book for my 1st grader. He can look at what Keenan (4th) is doing. I noticed Keenan never got into the timeline. I have had his since he was in 1st grade. But we do it anyway. I do most of the work, since I think it is important, but he gets to see how it unfolds and I use the timline book to keep all his notebook pages in. Now we have experienced some overlap of past studies, it IS interesting to him to see the things he studied in the past and how it relates timewise to what we are studying now.
Next year I will start a Timeline book for my younger boy. and Keenan will start a new one. I think I will do individual so they can keep their notebook pages in between. I have liked that idea.
My 1st grader is too young for most of the MYO History pages. I make up history pages for him, using... whatever I come up with. maps or people, pictures down loaded from the internet, and he tells me about them... stuff like that.
Not sure if any of that is helpful
