Yeah! We are so excited about using QAW. I have deliberately not put the books out until a bit later this afternoon. My dd is so eager to start reading (and has already asked to read ahead if she likes the books). I made up a companion lesson plan sheet for language, math, etc which sits facing the independent study page.

I know we will be happy as we devle into history!

That's so neat!
My mom used to work at a library and bring me books home all of the time as a kid. I think that's one of the reasons why I love to read as much as I do.

Just had to share this...So we started back to school today. When we were all finished we took the kids to the park to play. When we were finished there we asked them what they would like to do next. Immediately they answered, "Let's go to the library!!!" First day of school under their belts and all they can think of is being with more books!! :D Made me proud, they did!
