Organizing WP materials

I just posted this on the general forums, but thought I would share here as well.

I'm working on organizing our WP ASII materials and having a lot of fun doing it! I stumbled upon a system that I think will work well for me. I tend to be an "out of sight, out of mind" type of person, so I wanted something that had lots of visual triggers for what I need to be doing.

Now I wish I had not seen this :p I have several notebooks set up and organized for the year but the filing system really has me thinking...... I may just have to start over. I too think this would be great for us.

You don't have to flip through so many notebooks to get @ your notes, you can have a schedule made up for each child, pull any of those loose papers that need to be given out. All you need then are the books. This would also make it so easy for a spur of the moment road trip too; grab the weeks lessons, pull the books and away you go. Of course you can pull from the notebooks/planners also but this weekly filing system just really appeals to the "accountant" in me.

Thanks for a great suggestion. I don't have any empty file cabinet, do have milk crates but going to make a run to the office supply store and see other options. And neat folders! :D
