Poll time! Blame Kathy she gave me the itch. :D

Please, if you have children outside the age range doing all or parts of this program, please post about it for the posterity of others.

We are looking forward to continue our American History journey with AS2, starting in August. I will have a 2nd grader and a 6th grader.

We have really enjoyed AS2. Some of the favorite books have been "The Last Safe House," "Jason's Gold," "Rose's Journal," and "Journey To America." There have been other great ones, too, but these are just off the top of my head. My daughters have been especially fascinated with the Great Depression and WWII, and have really enjoyed history this year.

My dds are in 2nd and 6th grade, so I had ordered the AS2 middler's pack for my older daughter. But we ended up not using it since we got so much out of the regular program.

We're looking forward to QAW next year.

Next year for us, too. I will have a 2nd and 4th with the pre-ker soaking up whatever.

2nd and 5th graders here, finishing up in early June. While we haven't done the middlers pack, we have read The Story of the USA which has taught this mom a lot!!

I have just started AS 2. It was too hard for us to just stop AS 1 and then not explore more right away about what happened in the Civil War! Also, because I am combining AS 1 and 2 with MFW Adventures, it just makes sense to keep right on going!

My dc are going into 3rd and 1st. My dd already actually completed academic work for 1st grade this year.... her birthday is the end of Nov. and we just decided we didn't want her to be the youngest all through school, so we are having her 'repeat' 1st grade. She just turned 6.5. Anyway, I am having difficulty getting used to saying I will have a 3rd and 1st grader instead of a 3rd and 2nd grader. Now I feel slightly embarrassed that my little 1st grader has already studied the ancients, and is well into the Civil War in American History! But, because of all the pictures and videos and crafts that WP has, she is having a blast!! :D

No, as much as WP does work for the kids, TOG works better for me. I tweak everything and TOG gives me more pieces to play with.

I stick around because we will use Sky and Sea in the next year or two, and because WP is my back up program in case TOG ever becoems too much (which is always possible).

I am also hoping they produce more full science programs that I can use. (Hint, Hint-Lindsey you reading this??? :p )

I'm glad you stick around, this is a very nice group here.
Sea and Sky looks like a great program. My dd has read some of the books and loved them.
