We will be starting AS2 next week and I am sooo excited!! :) I just want to hear from you guys: What are your favorite parts of this year? I want to know what you think we should not skip, no matter what. What projects have you enjoyed the most and how are you doing your notebooking pages? Do you notebook everyday? Do you add your timeline pages in with your notebook pages?

I know these are a lot of questions, and I thank you in advance for all your help!! :D

Hi Stephanie,

I'm glad to hear you are very excited to start the program. You should!
It's hard to give an answer to the question about what we liked. There was so much stuff we enjoyed, it's easier just to write waht we didn't.
My kids didn't enjoy the book, I believe the tilte was When Christmas comes again. We dropped it and replaced it by another book. I didn't like how the book about the San Francisco Earthquake was written. The writing was poor. My kiddos didn't seem to mind.
We absolutely loved the Civil War part and the Klondike/gold rush part.
We don;t notebook every day, but we do every week. (at least once a week) Most of the time we use what's provided by WP, but sometimes we find more info on the web. Once the kids pretended to be reporters and wrote narrations next to Klondike pictures we found on the web.
We're not done with the entire program yet, but we're still enjoying it!

Great! It's always nice when there are other families starting at the same time. My DS woke this morning and asked if we could start today. :D I'm not sure if we will have the time, but we might.
